About Us

Tender Steps made its humble beginnings in a residential garage in 1994 with five students. Gradually the garage was converted into a school. The preschool chain has come a long way since then. Today, Tender Steps has four branches all over Maharashtra.

Tender Steps Preschool is specialized in early years. It follows a specialized curriculum which believes in creating lifelong learners. At Tender Steps, every child is encouraged to participate in interesting activities and games, these opportunities are used for planned and incidental learning.

Tender Steps is a part of the revered CDS School, which is considered to be one of the best ICSE schools in the region. It first began its facility in Nagpur and after encouraging a number of children to identify and develop their personalities; the school has now modernized and expanded to other cities including Pune.

Our schools current standalone Preschool facility in Pune is located in Baner and flaunts a well-equipped and child-safe infrastructure and a stimulating learning environment. We offer Pre Primary Education.

The Tender Steps Philosophy

Every child is a winner! Every child is different!

We understand that each child learns differently, responds differently to stimuli. Our successful, experiential learning method encourages the use of the senses, for a deeper, memorable learning experience.

Director's Message

Dear Parents ,

I am honored to be part of such established institutions as CDS School and Tender Steps. Tender Steps has come a long way since its beginnings in our homes’ garage in 1994 with five students

Stephen Coveys’ is one of the key philosophies that we have implemented in our school.

Personal attention to each child is what we actually practice in all our schools. We do not merely talk the talk, we walk the talk too. This has produced outstanding results with many of our school children moving on to achieve big in their lives.

There is a famous book by Jim Collins- from good to great- in that he says- turning good to great takes energy, but the building of momentum adds more energy back into the pool than it takes out.

“Even though there is nothing wrong with “good,” that ‘good’ can, and often does, prevent us from achieving more of our potential. Good will keep us satisfied with the current situation, and because of this satisfaction we may be unable and unwilling to try to achieve something better”.

This is the journey that we are on, with your child at the core of our efforts.

Best wishes,
Sanket Saraf
