The school takes utmost care to maintain hygiene. There is a regular routine of cleaning and dusting of all areas. Garbage is properly disposed. An organic child safe disinfectant solution is used for cleaning. IGCCI, Commonwealth Vocational University and Nehru Yuva Kendra together have recognized Tender Steps Preschool with Hygiene and Cleanliness Award.
The school has put up CCTV cameras in different classrooms and play area. Parents can take the benefit of watching their children live.

To develop healthy eating habits, we follow a menu and request parents to follow the same. When children sit in a group they don’t create a fuss to complete the snack given.

We have a sports instructor coming in for weekly classes for grooming children for their physical strength and correct posture. Music teacher comes in to take keyboard classes.
We follow a routine for children which will enable them to use the washroom every hour. Once the child gets used to the teachers and caretakers, they eventually get into the habit of informing the teacher as the rest of them do.
